2023.5.18. Nucleate final pitch

Nuclearte Seattle branch presents its final selection in the pitch contest. 3 investors as judge. Location: UW SLU, Orin Smith auditorium.

By order of presentation:

• Kanona - machine learning using epigenetics marker in blood test for pre-natal diagnostics;
• KeyBiome - therapeutic anti-infalmmatory protein (from zebrafish) to treat irritable bowl syndrome;
• Idun Therapeutics - using hydrogel to deliever exome to treat osterosis like knee join damage;
• Peakline Bio - multiplexed biomarker using special color mix;
• AlpaCure - using antibodies from alpaca (or other camels) for TB.

Peakline Bio won the pitch contest (investment). Idun Therapeutics won the audience award ($500). Most presenters are doctors or PhD students in bio. I learned a lot.
