A cloudy day for Cedar Butte. Some fog, a little muddy due to the recent rain. This is a very easy hike in the Cedar River Watershed are: 3 miles RT, 900' gain. Very green, clean air. Limited view to the north, at the small summit. One log serves as a bench, a geology survey marker.Direction: I-90 exit 32 (436th Avenue SE). After ~4.5 miles, passing the Rattlesnake Lake parking area, to the Iron Horse Trailhead parking area on the left. Walk in on the Iron Horse trail. Cedar Butte sign is on the right about 1/4 mile in.
