2024.7.13. UW Biology greenhouse

7/13. Biking by the greenhouse today, saw the sign of open house. Walked in. I was allowed to park my bike inside. Maybe 1/3 of the greenhouse was open. Many tropical flowers in bloom. Here are some of the odd-looking ones.
Malaysia Orchid, Costus barbatus, Thunia orchid, Hibiscus schizopetalus, Cavendishia Micayen.
Ceratostema rauhii, Pachypodium lamerei, huge pitcher plants, Mammillaria decipiens cactus, Cochliostema Odoratissimum orchid.

Will visit again in few months to see what bloom next. Thursdays from 12:00-4:00PM and the 2nd & 4th Saturdays from 10:00-2:00pm.
