Annual Tulip Festival in La Conner, WA.
Overcast. Sun only came out after my camera battery died. Quite a lot of people, but not enough to cause traffic jam. The dirt paths for tourists around tulip fields are sometimes spongy with caked mud. Feels kind of funny to walk on them. Parked at one field, and rode bikes to others. A good exercise and feels wonderful when passing slow moving cars. Don't know why each field has an old yellow school bus parked in the middle.
Practicality: better to park at RoozenGaarde or Tulip Town, as parking is free, but admission is $5/pp. More varieties in these gardens. I prefer the former. Very similar, but a little more design. Both offer food/drink areas.
