I arrived late, but the speakers didn't start until ~6:30pm. 3 local business owners who operate in the space of private boats:
My first time here. Not sure if I learned anything. The talks are very general, nothing in detail.
The Q&A is more interesting, especially from this lady who arrived at the same time as me (the door is locked, and she knows to ring someone to let us in).
2 takeaways from her: 1) wooden boats are no longer allowed to moor in LA (and potentially banned from more harbors). 2) get a smaller boat, so you can operate without a crew.
